Diwali Part Dos

OK, so I have to admit, I didn’t take a huge variety of pictures of the festival…but how about a video? It’s short (about 15 seconds) and unedited, but it can give you a pretty good feel of the decorations at Police Bazaar that night. (And I promise lots of pics of later festivals!)

BUT…here’s a picture of the pizza I had that night. Although it’s quite unlike any pizza I’ve had before (and not just in America, either) — think lots of crust and not a lot of sauce — it’s the closest I’ve come to at-a-restaurant Western food since I’ve been in India. Now THAT is something to celebrate!

I liked the music! Do you know who sings that song, i kind of want to download it…great work out music…the shake your body, shake your body chorus was sort of hypnotizing!

A few of us in the office kind of celebrated Diwali, too, although it was limited to visiting Chris W.’s office and trying his sugar-filled treats from India. Happy Diwali! =)

I don’t know that song…I can’t even tell if it’s American or Indian! Unhipla, do you know?

Tell Chris I said, hello, Kim!

Hahaha, that is so funny that you asked me that! I liked the music too but I don’t know what it is. Sorry! Loved the video! Can you break from form and put up some shots of Indian food? Yummmmmy

Oh, don’t worry…there will definitely be some Indian food pics to come…especially as I learn to cook some myself!!!

Though you say it didn’t taste like it, that looks like a Totino’s party pizza you liked so much…:) You should come over, we have some in the freezer!
