Saw this story on Yahoo! yesterday. Apparently, I’ll even be able to vote (online) in the primaries this year. Yahoo!
This is fabulous as I’ve been following the primaries with almost as much gusto as I followed the Britney/K-Fed custody battle. But you know, we didn’t get to vote in that.
I’ll be registering soon, unless of course, any of you political reporters clue me into some security breaches of the site.
And, yes that means I’m a registered Democrat (come on…I grew up in a union family). Interestingly, though, it’s only the Dems offering this. Do you think that means Republicans don’t become expats?

On my study abroad group there was 1 girl out of about 45 of us that was a Republican, and as an expat, I have yet to meet a Republican if that tells you anything. I’ve been here for 2.5 years.
I’m excited to vote in the primaries!!! Who is your candidate?

I actually have met Republican travelers on this trip (and have quite a few Republican friends back in MO who do travel internationally). But expats, other than government officials…haven’t met them.
My candidate? Still kind of deciding…

That’s pretty cool that you can vote absentee online! I went to my caucus in Nevada last week and it was really an interesting experience. I went in undecided and got a pretty hard sell from several of the supporters of different candidates. I have to say my jury is still out though.
